Light a Candle
Melvin James "Big Ham" Beecham was the first born child of Patricia "Tot" Beecham. He was born in Baton Rouge, La. He attended Istrouma High School. He was so warm & loving with a smile that could light up a room. He was an amazing individual who could make anyone laugh. He fathered 17 children. 9 sons and 8 daughters he leaves behind. He loved and cared for them all. Ham has four brothers, Fred, Steven, and Charlie. All who will truly miss him. He also leaves behind his wife Roxy. Melvin is preceded in death by his grandmother Rose "Dear" Beecham, grandfather Eleaster "Pop" Beecham. Ham you will truly be missed. We love you and know that you are watching over us.
